Final Student Loan Payment Pause Extended Through End of the Year
The Biden-Harris administration has extended the student loan payment pause for the final time until December 31, 2022. Repayment is scheduled to resume on January 1, 2023.
There is still time to enroll in an income-driven repayment plan and make extra payments toward your principal balance.
One-Time Student Loan Debt Relief Announced
The Biden-Harris administration also announced that individual Federal Pell Grant recipients earning less than $125,000 ($250,000 for households) are eligible for up to $20,000 in Federal student loan cancellation, and $10,000 in relief to non-Pell Grant recipients.
